We found out today that we are having a girl! The ultrasound tech is 98% sure, we'll get a final confirmation on the 11th of May. My computer is still acting up when I want to put pictures up, so hopefully I'll get somemore stuff posted later :)

Jaron is 5!!

Can't believe that it has already been 5 years since this little man joined our lives. Jaron turned 5 in December (our comuter has been acting up, still is a little). He has had a fun year. He learned to ride his bike with no training wheels and then upgraded to a big boy bike. He also learned to swim. He doesn't need to plug his nose, he did this because he wanted to look like Megatron when he comes out of the water in the 2nd Transformers, he cracks me up. He is also doing really well with reading, he is just amazing. He is a great big brother, he loves to make Bryce laugh and is the only one can get Brycer REALLY laughing. Jaron loves to go to preschool, he has a lot of friends there. His favorite movie is of course Transformers, he now has 27 different Transformer toys. His favorite food is spaghetti and meat balls, is favorite thing to do is to play with Bryce and his daddy. They love to wrestle and goof off. We just love Jaron and are so blessed to have him in our family.

Halloween Fun

So we had fun for Halloween. We carved our pumpkins too early though for Bakersfield :) But I thought they turned out good. Aaron did the Crow on a branch, Jaron's is of course the Transformer and I just did the traditional Jack-O-Lantern. (I really like the lights above my stove)
We went to Jaron's preschool Thursdat morning for a Trunk-or-Treat and he had fun. Here are some pictures of him and his friends.

Tony, Luke, Justin and Jaron. Justin won the costume contest as the UPS man. His mom also had him use a box labe UPS for his tick-or-treat bag. It was so cute. The boys had a lot of fun.

Here are my sweet boys before the party, Jaron was an awesome Bumblebee Transformer (he actually saved up some money to put towards his costume) and Brycer was Batman. He looked like a viking batmant though, he didn't like the mask over his face. They were both so darn cute.

Weekends

Bryce is crawling and has two teeth now. He is just too darn cute and I love watching him grow and learn.

Jaron started flag football last month and is loving it. He is having fun kicking and throwing his ball.

SO we have continued to be busy but having lots of fun. Aaron gave Jaron a great hair cut and I just love his eyes in this picture, he just cracks me up. He is doing so great. He can swim by himself with no floaties and with out pinching his nose. He has also upgraded to a bigger bike and is just amazing. He is reading basic stories and loving it. The preschool we take him to has been great. We go Mon-Thurs from 10-11 and it's free; How much better can that get :)

With the preschool we went to the county fair and this is what Jaron thought of the animals :) He just said "Mommy this stinks" and plugged his nose the rest of the way through the pins. I had to laugh at myself when we walked next to a big cow, yep I said it "HOLY COW!" and just started laughing. My friends Carrie and Celine just laughed with me :)

Aaron has taken up a new hobby, he has been playing the guitar and doing really good at it. Aaron, his dad and brother are going to practice Holy Night to play together when we go to Boise for Thanksgiving. The other night Aaron and I learned how to sing and play Annie's Song by John Denver. It was a lot of fun. That was one of our in home dates. We started that a few weeks ago and are really enjoying it. They're free and we just get to hang out.

We had a little oops a while ago. I forgot to turn on the baby monitor when I left Bryce on my bed for his nap. Well you guessed it, he woke up and crawled off my bed, a king size pillow top bed. We are not sure what he hit, but his little nose looked so bad, poor guy :(

A Busy Summer/Update

We have had a busy summer. We had two family reunions and both my little sisters got married, all with in 5 weeks. Of course I am a dork and forgot my camera, I never seem to remember it when I really need it. But oh well. We had a lot of fun and my sisters were beautiful brides. Thanks to all those who helped my family out with the set up and putting things together.

Here are some pictures and updates of what has been happening in the Johnson home :)

Bryce is now sitting up and can sit himself up, he is 6 months old now :)

Jaron got to start preschool. He missed the cut off date for kidergarten so we found a community preschool that he is enjoying. I just love this picture, I just have to laugh (it might compete with Uncle Mikey's school picture, LOL)

Bryce is also scutting everywhere. He follows me into the kitchen and down the hall, everywhere I go. We have to keep all the doors shut so he doesn't end up in the bathroom or under Jaron's bed :). I can't believe how fast things are going. It seems like yesterday I was video taping Jaron learning to scut and now he's in preschool and Bryce is scutting everywhere.

Aaron and I are doing great. We both turned 30 this summer (me yesterday) and it's kind of funny. We are both ok with it, it doesn't bother either of us, so far. But Aaron still loves his job and can't believe he gets paid to do this, he has so much fun. I am happy as ever watching my boys grow and learn.

I can't believe it Bryce is 5 months old already!!
He is just so much fun, he is rolling everywhere and seems to be getting close to the military crawl.

He is so happy all the time, unless of course he's hungry :), he smiles so easily and just lights up a room.

He loves to be down and playing especially with Jaron. He just laughs as Jaron makes funny noises and plays peek-a-boo with him. They are so fun to watch.

He also loves to play in his jumper and walker, that is so funny to watch, his little leggs just going and going.

I just can't believe how blessed I am to have such wonderful boys.

The Beach

So Saturday we went to the beach, Bryce's first time. We had a lot of fun, but it WAS cold.
Jaron didn't care of course, as most kids don't and he played all day, running and jumping and just having a ball. It was so much fun to watch.

The sun came out for a little while and Aaron got brave, it wasn't any colder then Tahoe, but still I just couldn't do it, yeah I know I'm a whimp :)

Afterwards we went to get some clamchowder and fish and chips for dinner. Bryce was so funny. When we got him out of the carseat he was just grabbing at EVERYTHING, we couldn't move things fast enough. Jaron was just laughing so hard. Poor Bryce was getting mad that we kept moving things :)

But it was a great day and very relaxing.

Father & Son Campout

So Aaron and Jaron went to the Father & Son campout last weekend and had a blast. Jaron got to shoot his first gun :o) and an assult rifle at that. This is the gun Aaron got to shoot :o)
But here is Jaron shooting the rifle, I love ear muffs.

Jaron also got to shoot a bow and arrow and loved it.

They also had a zip line to go on and panning for gold. They had a wonderful weekend. Thanks to the Monica Ward for putting that together.

Pumpkins

Our ward is having a pumpkin growing contest this summer. So for family home evening last week we planted our seeds. Jaron was so excited to plant them and it's a great thing for him to learn.

And so this week Jaron was VERY excited to see that his pumpkins are growing! He was jumping and showing Aaron and I. It was great. Now he wants to plant almost every seed he sees :)

Jaron's Day

Jaron got to go fishing for the first time today and he loved it. He and Aaron had a lot of fun.

Jaron has a great cast :) The sad part is he didn't learn it from his daddy. Aaron asked him where he had learned it and he said a fishing pole commercial on TV. Aaron takes credit for fine tuning it though.

Jaron then came home and started riding his bike. He decided To ride his bike down a little steep hill and the poor guy ran into our neighbor's car. He hit his head, you can see the start of the bruise on the right side of his forehead. So sad :(

I can't believe that Bryce is 2 months old already. He is growing so fast and changing. He is so alert and loves looking at everything and everyone. He loves playing with his big brother. Here are some pictures that I thought were so cute. I was so excited to get a picture of him smiling.

Bryce Richard Johnson

Bryce was born on Wednesday March 4th at 12:30 am. He was 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long. He was over cooked :) So if we hadn't enduced, who knows when he would have come. Jaron is loving being a big brother and is just so good at it :) Thank you for all your thought and prayers and friendship. I will post more when I have time to do a slide show, so maybe next month :) I'll get Aaron to do one for me soon. We are all doing great and loving having our new little addition.

Happy 9th Anniversary

We celebrated our 9th anniversary on Feb 19th. I can't believe that we have been married for 9 years and been together for 10 years. It's amazing how fast time flys when you're having fun :) Aaron is such a wonderful husband and I am so greatful that I get to spend eternity with him. It is just so great to spend so much time with your best friend, and Aaron truly is, I can't imagine a better friend, companion and husband. He is so funny and gets a kick out of how "cute" I am. I don't even mind that he giggles at my belly and the way I walk right now. He is so excited to see our second child and so greatful that all has gone well. He is my support and my sanity :) I love seeing him all the time and am so greatful for the great job he has found that allows him to be home so much. He works so hard at everything is does. He is maintainling a 4.0 GPA at Utah Valley University and training 3 students.
I am so glad that I married my best friend, and so greatful for the life that we have together.
I love you Aaron!!

We decided to finally set up Jaron's bunkbed. Jaron loves it and wants to sleep on the top bunk, which mommy wasn't so sure about :)

I keep forgetting that he is 4 and a big boy.

This is one of his Christmas presents that he loves to wear. I don't remember what we were doing, but he decided that he needed to wear his tool belt and hat :)

Oceanside

So we went to Oceanside last weekend and like dork I forgot my camera again! But we had so much fun. We spent Saturday at the beach boarding (Aaron and his parents) and playing in the waves (me and Jaron) It was so nice a relaxing. Then on Sunday we went whale watching. We only expected to see Grey whales, but instead we got to see two Fin Whales.

They were so beautiful and amazing, I had always wanted to see a whale, and now I have :) Then as we were "following" the whales we came across a large group of dolphins. I think I counted 20 or more. Everyone was looking ahead, but Jaorn and I ended up staying in the back of the boat and watched 3 or 4 right next to us. It was just amazing, Jaron loved it and of course so did I. Rick and Nancy got good pictures, so as soon as they email them to us I'll post them. But thank you Mom and Papa for meeting us there and we had a blast! I love this world and the amazing animals and beautiful scenery that God has given us.

A Late Birthday Party

So last Sunday, the 4th Jaron was talking to our friend Tricia telling her that he was now 4, but he didn't get a birthday cake :). Aaron and I just looked at each other, we are such bad parents. So we decided that we needed to do something for him. So I called my friends Lenaya and Carla whoes sons are in Jaron's calss ar church. So we invited the boys over for Saturday the 10th and had a lot of fun. We did a Lightning McQueen theme and he just loved it. Here are a few pictures:

Panic Attack

OK so yesterday I was thinking and realized that I am 32 weeks and have NOTHING ready for this new little man. We don't have a car seat, a bed that will fit in our apartment, or really any clothes. (of course my baby shower isn't till the end of the month) and I don't have anything for me ready. So I just about panicked. I couldn't take my Christmas down because all the boxes were in storage and I couldn't get to where they were. I needed to get my filing together so I could start the new year out right and I couldn't go get that for various reasons. So I just felt like I had too much to do yesterday and couldn't do ANY of it. It was driving me crazy!!! When Aaron finally got off we went to Costco and Office Max to get the things I needed for filing and he promised to go get the boxes this morning so I could take down Christmas. Thankfully he was able to go get the boxes and so Christmas is down and I feel a little better. You know that feeling when things are just closing in on you, I love my Chirstmas decorations, but they really make things crowded. But anyways, I feel like I have a handle on things again and Aaron promised that we would go buy the car seat and the outfit to bring the baby home in this weekend :) My good friend Alison is giving me her bassinet and I will hopefully be able to find a few things that I need. So I feel like the panic attack is done for now, who knows, it might stike again. :)
I know I have 8 weeks left and I have good friends around me to help, it was just one of those days that I am so glad is over.

Christmas and New Year

OK so I was horrible and didn't get my camera out on Christmas, so we have no pictures :(. But we had a great time. We went to Beatty NV where Aaron's parents live and spent it with them and Aaron's sister Shauna and Ashley. We also got to see Aaron's grandma. Jaron got so many new things, one of his favorites is the tool set from Grandma Nancy and Papo, and of course his adventure set from Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Dave. He play with them all the time and loves putting stuff together. He has also really enjoyed the Tag ready system that Aaron and I got for him, so that;s cool. We hope that he will be reading soon :)
We went back to Beatty for New Years and again had a fun relaxing time. Aaron started training his dad on his instrument rating. But we also just got to hang out and spend time together. We didn't actually leave for Beatty till the morning of the 1st and we didn't stay up for the count down. Somehow we both feel like we didn't get closer on 08, I know that sounds funny, but we really feel like we missed something. So we'll have to stay up next year or at least watch the New York one :)
But we hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
PS I will be sending out a family card after the new little man is born and we get our family pictures. Sorry I didn't get to it this year.

I just love this guy, he is so funny and cute. I can't believe that he is 4 years old. He is such a wonderful son, and he is going to be a great big brother :) He is so excited to be 4 finally, he has wanted to be 4 since August when his cousin Ahlana turned 4. When he asked my mom how Ahlana turned 4, she said that Ahlana turned around and that's how she turned 4. Well a few minutes later Jaron turned around and said OK, now I'm 4. I knew that one was coming. But he has just been so ready and excited to be 4. I thought I would also share a few funny stories of him :

At FoodMaxx the otherday walking around and annoucement came over the intercome. Jaron looked up and asked me, was that God? :) No I'm not kidding, he asked me that. I told him that it was a man over the speaker, and then he asked what a speaker was.

One of his favorite shows is Mickey Mouse Club House. One of the episodes the doctor turns Goofy into a baby goofy. Through out the show they have to take care of baby Goofy. They even teach them to burp the baby with a song :) Well the other night our neighbor's new son was crying very loud, we could hear him pretty well. Jaron was very sad and asked me what was wrong with the baby. I told him that I didn't know, he then says " They didn't burp him, they need to do it like this, Top, Top, Bottom Bottom, Middle Middle Middle." I just started laughing, he is going to be a great big brother.

We went to the ward Christmas party on Friday and Santa was there to visit with the kids. All the kids got in line and Jaron looks up at me and says" That's not Santa, he doesn't have a long beard." I told him that he was Santa's helper and that he would tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. He would not sit on Santa's lap. But yesterday at Aaron's work Santa came again and this time he had a long beard, Jaron didn't have much trouble going to see him, especially when he knew it was his birthday :)

I just love this little guy so much and love spending so much time with him. He is so smart and funny. Happy Birthday buddy, Mommy and Daddy love you more then anything!!

Disneyland

He got to go to Disneyland on the 6th and had a lot of fun. I didn't post all of the pictures, just the ones I really liked. Jaron was so funny at the parade, he was yelling "HI" to every character that went by. He also knew them all by name, he was too funny. Aaron and Jaron only went on the Pirate ship, I thought about it later and I should have gone with them. We're just not line people :) But we got to see a lot of things and had a great time. When we go again we are going in the middle of the week. While we were there we ran into some of our friends from Reno, the Bartholomews. It was so great to see them and talk to them. We hadn't seen their new baby Adam and Diane hadn't seen my belly :) So it was great and crazy to see them. Thanks to IFTA for giving us a great Christmas present.

A long drive home

We left a little later then what we had planned to get home after the Thanksgiving Holiday and got stuck in traffic. Thankfully Jaron slept a good portion of the way and when he was awake, he was being such a good boy.
This the face of "how long have we been driving?"

I know we didn't drive as far as others, but it was long. We got stuck in a traffic jam near the I5 and 580 interchange and then hit fog and traffic a little later. It was not a fun drive at all, but we made it home safely.

My cousing Sarah was driving through Bakersfield on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and stopped by to say "HI" It was so nice to see her and meet her new boy friend Andy. He was so funny and nice. He is from England and had to go back, right after Thanksgiving. But again I just love seeing family and catching up.

OK so I joined Facebook a while ago and got in contact with almost all of my dad's family. It has been so great. Some of my cousins were even coming to Disneyland just before Thanksgiving, so I drove down to LA and had dinner with them. I even got to see my Aunt Velm and William. I just love family, you are instant friends no matter how long it has been since you've seen each other.

Ok so I am so bad about posting my belly pictures, this is from Nov 1st. I can't believe that we are getting so close. I know it's still not till the end of Feb or beginning of March, but is just flying by. I am feeling really good and things seem to be going great. I have a regular doctors appointment Monday morning and then we leave for Reno on Tueday night for Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy being with family and friends.

Today is my parent's 35th anniversary. I just wanted to let them know how much I love them and appreciate all that they do for our family. They have always set a great example of how to love and be understanding. They also showed me what kind of a marriage I wanted to have with Aaron. I love that my parents still hold hands and go out of dates. I am so greatful for them and all that they have done and are doing. I love you Mom and Dad, enjoying Cabo next week :)

Primary Program

Ok so yesterday was our ward primary program. The kids did so well, and I just wanted to tell you how funny my little man was. He said his part very well and without any help. His line was "I choose the right when I obey my parents"
All the children were singing so well, Aaron said that he could hear Jaron during the songs that he really knew :) But it was really funny when I was leading the children and looked down to Jaron's class and he is dancing to the song that we are singing. LOL I didn't know that you could groove to a primary song that well. But it was so great and all the kids did such a great job.
We called Grandma Nancy and Papo to tell them about the program (we talked too long and couldn't call my family till this morning :)) While Jaron was telling G. Nancy about the program he started spinning, while he is holding the phone of course. Then he askes G. Nancy if she is getting dizzy, LOL. We all just started laughing, he is just too funny sometimes.

Well we hope that everyone had a great Halloween. We had a lot of fun at our ward Fall Festival, but I forgot my camera. We got this picture before we got ready for bed. Thanks again to my friend Jocelyn for making the pumpkin "skirt". Jaron was so excited to be Spiderman and I was a cat coming out of the pumpkin, JJ was of course the pumpkin :).

I love the muscles in this costume. But he wore it so much when we first got it that the padding in the muscles started to seperate. They started to look like cottage cheese :) It was too funny. But he loved it and was very sad when he realized that Halloween is over. But he's excited to do the Thanksgiving decorations.

Well these pictures were suppose to be next to each other, but oh well. I went to the doctor yesterday to get another ultrasound, this time to check the heart and organs etc. Well we got this really cute profile picture. Can you see a resemblance? Yeah, I think we made another cute one :)

The baby isg rowing very well, in fact he is a little bigger then what he is suppose to be. So he might be here a little early, but that's great. I love getting ultrasounds, they are so cool to watch. We could see JJ sucking on his thumb and see the other 4 fingers stretched out. He is very active and love to feel him move and grow. I am so excited to have another special spirit to help learn and grow. Jaron was so excited to see his little brother again and keeps asking me if he is big enough to come out. :)

My mother-in-law is way cool. She sends us these cute holiday packages and Jaron just loves them. So here is the stuff she sents us. Jaron got a kick out of the wax teeth.

We called Grandma Nancy while Jaron opened it and he was just too funny.

So she makes her own carameled popcorn, then she makes cute rice krispie treats. She cut them into triangles and frosted them like a candy corn. She is so great. We just love her.

So here are some of the crafts that Jaron and I have made this month. We didn't have a lot of decorations so we made them and put them up. Jaron loves it and I think it looks pretty cute.

Here are our pumpkins that we got at the Murray Family Farms, Jaron wanted us each to paint them like Spider Man. He wanted mine to be painted pimk, so we both went along with it :)

7 Random things

Ok so I was tagged by my friend Carla. So here are 7 random things about me and then I get to tag 7 other people at the end.

1. I am a little OCD, things have to match including the cups that I set out for dinner. When I was little, if there was going to be one that wouldn't match I would put two back ( so they won't be alone in the cupboard) and then bring out two news ones that matched.

2. I have to answer phone calls (don't have caller ID) just incase it is an emergency, I can't stand to let it ring. Drives Aaron crazy when we are in the middle of dinner and I have to pick it up.

3. I love eating, but I can't stand cooking half the time. It takes 20 mins to prepare everything and then another 30 to 45 min to bake. And then after you eat it in 10 min you have to take 30 min to clean everything up. I would rather take .99 and go to Jack in the Box sometime. But there is nothing like home cooked meals (and a budget) so I do cook for Aaron.

4. I get a long a little better with guys then I do girls sometimes. I just don't seem to have a lot in common with most women. I am serious when I say that Aaron is my BFF. He is the only one who gets me and really enjoys all the silly stuff I think about. I just like talking about sports and learning how things work. I do enjoy finding a good deal at a store, but I don't get into fashion too much. But I am always up for a shopping trip to find great deals.

5. I am a pack rat and a shirt horder. I only have like 4 pairs of jeans, but I can't count how many shirts I have. And I keep them forever (well maybe 4 or 5 years depending on my size). I just can't get rid of things that people give me. I have almost every card anyone has given me. I even have this stupid red clown nose that my cousin threw at me because it was from my Aunt Jean's room. I have a lot of "junk" boxes.

6. I am a horrible procastinator. Have you ever seen that T-shirt that says "Procrastinators UNITE.....tomorrow" That is my motto. I am trying to work on that, but sometimes it does just slip my mind.

7. When I sleep at night, I have to have the sheets touching me. I can't stand the blankets to touch me at all. It has to be all the same (OCD again) The sheet can't be up against my cheek, but my shoulder is touching the blanket, it just drives me crazy.

Well that was harder then I thought and now I feel really funny that you will all know those silly things about me. But that's OK, I know (hope) you will all still love me. :)

This is not my favorite picture, but here is my belly and my little man. (I had just gotten out of the shower and Jaron had had one of those days, so I wasn't too happy :))We took this picture at the end of Sept, so I have grown a little bit more. But it's like my belly popped and then hasn't changed a whole lot since. But I feel the baby move quite often and I love it. Aaron actually got to feel the baby move the other night and was way excited. Jaron hasn't had the patience yet to keep his hand on my belly long enough, but it will happen of course.

Ok so here are our measurements of Jaron since we have moved to Bakersfield. The first mark in from May and the next one is from July and the last one is from Oct 12th. He has grown about an inch and a half in the last 3 months. I knew he was growing, but not that much. He is almost into size 5T. We had to buy new church clothes for him, everything is getting too small. I know this is how it works, but my goodness. It just makes me so happy and sad to see me little man growing up, I just love him so much and am so proud of him.

Twilight Series

Ok if you haven't read the Twilight Series and pland to stop reading now. I will ruin too much for you. You have been warned.
Ok so I finally went out and bought the books, yes bought them, I don't have the patience for the library. But anyways, I loved them the whole way through. I was however on Team Jacob, I just like the darker hair and tall, muscular type. Edward didn't really sound all that appealing to me. But hey, he was perfect for Bella. But I can't stand the ending of the Breaking Dawn. What a build up for nothing. The Volturi just walk away. I had to laugh, Aaron had to read the last three chapter for me as we were driving to Beatty. He got really into it and totally was mad that there wasn't a fight. That cracked me up. I really counld't stand that Jacob imprinted on Nessie, whats up with that. I have to agree with my friend Angie that Jacob lost a lot of his personality after he imprinted. but I guess for those of you who didn't like him, that worked for you :) But anyways, I am totally excited for the movies, but of course they people they casted aren't exactly how I pictured people. I knew who they picked for Edward before I read the book. So I had Harry Potter's friend in mind the bulk of the time. My problem with Jacob, is the guy I pictured for him is actually playing Billy Black, Jacob's dad. go figure. Of course I loved him from Last of the Mohicans (yes I know it is rated 'R') when he was young and hot. So oh well. But I ams so glad I know what all of you are talking about now. they really are good books. I'll have to get all you Bakersfield girls to read them so we can do what my sister-in-law is doing and do a girl's night out to go see the movie. I don't think Aaron wants to see the movie now:)

So we had an ultrasound yesterday to found out if we were having a boy or girl and as you can see, we are having a boy. Aaron wanted to be really sure so the ultrasound technician got us the next picture.

So we decided that we needed to go to the beach now that I was feeling good. So we headed over ot Ventura. I was so nice and cool. We had a lot of fun playing together.

Jaron didn't really like the water when it came up on him, but it did catch him a few times :)

Hiking in Tahoe

Aaron and I did some hiking while we were in Taho for a few days. The first place was more like just a walk, but it was sure pretty.
Here I am at the beginning of the trail. Rainbow trail is the name.

This is some of the scenery that we got to see on this walk. It was just perfect.

We then drove up the highway a little and stopped to see Emerald Bay. This bay is just so beautifl, of course with a name like Emerald Bay, it had better be pretty.

We then crossed the highway and hiked up to (I think) Cyrstal Falls. It was more of a trickle, but it still a nice hike. Aaron thought is pretty easy just finishing Boundary Peak, but I thought it was a good hike for a 4 month pregnant women who is just over being sick and getting some energy back :) Anyways this was the trail that we had to follow, it looks worse then it was, but it was so nice to be just the two of us .
This was the scene that we got at the top of the falls ( it was more like a trickle this late in the season ) We stayed up there for about an hour just relaxing and eating a sandwich. Talk about peace and quiet.

We had so much fun on our vacation and just love going to Tahoe and see family.

Labor Day Hiking

Ok so I picked my pictures backwards but I'm not doing it again :)
Aaron went hiking with his good friends, the Johnsons (yes more Johnsons). He and Matt, the one in the middle of this picture, have been best friends since they met in the sixth grade. Matt was the best man at our wedding. The Johnsons have been wonderful friends to us always and we love them. I'm glad Aaron got to go hiking with them. They hiked Boundary Peak on Saturday Aug 30th after camping the night before.

Having Fun with Jaron

OK so here are some things that we did before we left for Reno on vacation. We took Jaron bike riding at Hart Park, they didn't make it very far, but I think he looks so cute in his bike hlemet :)

They had fun at the park on a different day. Jaron has named his ball Screwey and his Bat Darlin (yes, just like Everyone's Hero) so that is what they are playing with.

We took Jaron to Incredible John's Pizza to check it out. We loved it. We just felt bad that we planned it so late, that we didn't invite any friends with us. So Jaron just played with Daddy (our camera was running out of batteries, this is the clearest picture I have of them on the race track)
This was a pretty cool looking dinosaur ride, a little slow though :)

Happy Birthday Aaron

Well Happy 29th Birthday to Aaron. We had some friends over on Sunday night to celebrate and have cake (German chocolate) and ice cream. On monday night Aaron made another cake ( I was sick) and went to the dollar store and bought some mismatched party stuff. He then went and decorated his cubical and shared his cake with whoever wished him a Happy Birthday :). Needless to say there was no cake left for us when he came home (but we had a little left over from the cake on Sunday.) These are two of his guys that he instructs currently. Our little Peanut

We just wanted to announce that we are expecting our second baby. YEAH!!!!!

I am 9 weeks along and am due on March 4th. The baby is 8 weeks in this ultrasound photo, the heart beat is very strong and everything seems to be going great. The baby was a big surprise to us as we were not on fertility like we were with Jaron. All in the Lord's timing :)

So Jaron had been doing really well with recognizing his letters and their sounds. On Saturday Aaron should him how to spell JARON and so Jaron copied it and did a really good job as you can see. The "N" looks a little like an "M" , but hey he's only 3 and that was his first time. He likes to trace letters when he is in the mood and is getting better. I love watching him learn and grow, it is so amazing.

Magic Show

Ok so our Library has a lot of fun things going on this summer to keep the kids active and out of the heat. So on Fridays they do a little show for the kids. I hadn't been able to take Jaron much because fo watching other kids a lot. But I finally got to take him to the magic show on Friday and he loved it. Of course I forgot my camera, but oh well. The guy did a good job, Jaron really liked this floating ball that he had and the disappearing egg trick. He did'nt however like the trick where he was going to "cut" off a boys hand. It was a little much for all the kids. But Jaron broke down crying when the magician left the stage for a minute, with the boy waiting to see what was going to happen. They then played the song " All by myself" and Jaron just started crying. It was so sad and so funny. The magician came out and "cut" the coys hand and of course nothing happened. Jaron was still a little concered. The boy walked be and I asked if I could show Jaron his hand to show him that it was OK. Jaron was sooooooooooo confused it was just funny. But he still really liked it and told his Daddy all about it that night, of course I had to interpret a few things for him, but it was lots of fun.

We were playing basketball and I asked him what his name was. We didn't start dating for a year though, because I thought he didn't like me. I found out later that he had a crush on me. :)

How do you pick one, but if I had too it would be probably his smile. Man I love him!!

21. What is his greatest qualities?
Where do I begin, he is just such an amazing man. He loves me no matter what happens and no matter how silly I am being. He is truly my best friend and the only person I can be truly myself around. He is funny and sweet and very protective of me. He holds me when I need him too nad makes me laugh even when I don't want him too. He pushes me to be the best I can and I hope I do the same for him. He is my love, my life, my all. He makes me happier than I ever thought possible. I am so glad that we have the chance to be together forever. I love you so much Aaron.

The 3 legged race

Yeah Aaron and I got smoked by Shauna and Ashley. In case you couldn't tell, they are the blur out in front of us when we are right in front of the camera.

The fireman who gave us the ribbon said that Aaron could have caught up with Shauna and Ashley but I started to trip up as you can see and so we got 3rd place. We don't know who got 2nd place, but we sure had some fun.

4th of July

This slide show is from our weekend in Beatty with Mom, Papa,Shauna, Ashley and Alan's family. We had so much fun. The kids got to ride on the newest fire truck and as you can see, it was just our family. Aaron and I got 3rd place in the 3 legged race, but Shauna and Ashley got first by a lot. They were so fast. You can see them in the next video, they are so far ahead of everyone. We all participated in the egg toss and I got to catch the egg on my nail, to of cousre it broke. Jaron was only one his age (from our family) to do the watermelon eating contest, he gained 1 pound I think. Brandon and Sydney did their age group and Brandon won, he gained 2 pounds. Shauna, Ashley and Cyndi did the watermelon eating contest for the adults and they did pretty darn well. Shauna was just enjoying the watermelon and helping Ashley eat as much as she could. Unfortunatley Ashley didn't win, but she did gain 4 pounds after loosing some of it :(
The guys and Ashley went paintballing the next morning and had a ton of fun, they were all very sore by the end of the day though. They weren't even up for taking any more pictures. We hope you all had a great 4th of July.

Jaron's Finance

This is Mary King, Jaron's finance :) Jaron asked me a awhile ago if he could marry me and I explained that I was married to his Daddy and that he would have to find his another wife. Then last week he asked me if he could marry Ahlana, his cousin. I then explained that he couldn't marry his cousin but that he could marry one of his friends and I listed, Mary her sister Cindy, Olivia and her sister Katie. Later that day I was talking to Jen King, Mary's mom, when Jaron asked if he could talk to her, you all know how much he likes to talk on the phone. So he was talking to Jen and asked if he could talk to Mary. He then proceeded to ask Mary if she wanted to mary him when they turned 21 (that's how old I told him he had to be). He said that when they came over to go swimming, they could get married. Jen later told me that she was on the phone when he asked, but he seems to think that they are getting married. Don't you just love kids and the way they think.

Well here is a picture of our family. We took this while we were in Reno a few weeks ago. We only got to stay for the weekend. Things are going great for us in California. Aaron loves his job, he gets to fly and is home everynight. We just can't believe how blessed we are. Jaron is getting so big, we can't believe it. He is doing really well on learning his alphabet and his numbers. I am staying busy as usual. I am the Primary chorister again and I am loving it. I get to basketball on Tuesdays and I am a sub on a volleyball league. We hope everything is going great for all of you.
